Mons. Gherardini accepted this position on the board in May, 2007. Residing at the Vatican as a Canon of St. Peter's Basilica, he is the secretary for the Pontifical Academy of Theology, professor emeritus at the Pontifical Lateran University, and the editor of Divinitas magazine. The Society is honored to have him as an advisor.
Mons. Schmitz accepted this position in 2006. A very highly esteemed philosopher, theologian, and canon lawyer, he is also a chaplain of the Order of Malta, member of the Pontifical Academy of Theology, former Attache to the country of Kyrgyzstan, the first priest to hold a chair at a former Russian university, and Vicar General of the Institute of Christ the King.
